This community centre located in Crossfield Reserve is owned by Auckland Council and managed by St Heliers Church and Community Centre. It is the venue for after school care and holiday programmes, Focus Community Playgroup and the Auckland East Toy Library. It is also a very popular venue for children's parties with access to the playgrounds and park.

The Michaels Ave Community Centre is a joint effort between Ellerslie Football and Ellerslie Cricket and council to deliver a world class community asset in the idyllic Michaels Ave Reserve. The goal for the Michaels Ave Community Centre is simple, to be a valued asset for the community, whether that be through hosting community meetings and events, hosting sports events or even just being a place to grab a bite to eat and chat to your local community members.
