  • Civil Defence Centres

    Civil Defence Centres (CDC) offer a safe place in local communities where people can go for help during an emergency and everyone is welcome.

    This interactive map displays the locations of our Civil Defence Centres, helping you find the nearest one to your home or workplace. During emergencies, we work closely with communities to open centres where they are needed and where it is safe to do so. 

    Please be aware that locations and hours of Civil Defence Centres can change, and this map will be updated regularly.

  • Community Emergency Hubs

    Community Emergency Hubs are a place where the community can meet, support and help each other and make decisions together about how to best ensure the safety and comfort of everyone in their community during an emergency.

    Your Community Emergency Hub also has another vital role to play. You can provide local, on the ground information back to Auckland Emergency Management’s Emergency Coordination Centre, where trained staff will be coordinating the official response to the emergency.

  • Marae

    Marae are important hubs to support communities in times of needs. Whilst they are Māori for Māori spaces, they are also open to non-Māori.

  • Accident & Urgent Care Clinics

    Where to go if you require urgent medical support including health care and prescriptions.

  • Churches

    Church groups provides important support to our communities in times of needs.

  • Sport Clubs

    Sports Clubs could provide temporary support
