Join Craftlab NZ and Out and About Auckland for a fun morning of Wild Families Nature Play! Wild Families is all about getting outdoors, exploring, and adventuring in our local parks and reserves. Aimed at ages 4 to 14—but welcoming all adventurers regardless of age—these sessions give whānau a chance to go a bit wild in nature while learning about local ecosystems.
Participants will get to try a variety of hands-on activities, from setting up hammock villages in the trees to crafting cabbage tree dolls and creating beautiful treasures from natural resources. It is also a fantastic opportunity to learn about local pests and their impact on nature.
Pack a picnic, bring along your friends and whānau, and bring your adventurous spirit! Please note that this is a smoke-free and alcohol-free community event. Come along and connect with nature!
